16,000+ Medical Check-Ups Delivered with Partners

Preventive care only counts when people can actually reach it. Across 2024, health screening programmes run by our portfolio companies together with corporate and community partners completed more than 16,000 medical check-ups — including 9,651 people screened within a single 14-day window.

Bringing the check-up to where people already are

Most of those screenings did not happen in a clinic. Teams set up inside factories, offices, and community halls so that workers and residents could be examined during the working day instead of giving up a day to travel to one. Blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol, and basic anthropometry were recorded on site, with laboratory samples routed to partner labs the same day.

What 9,651 people in fourteen days actually requires

Volume at that pace is an operations problem as much as a clinical one. Registration queues, sample logistics, result turnaround, and follow-up all have to hold at scale, and any one of them can stall the entire line. Digital registration and digital result delivery through the Plebo platform kept the queue moving and gave every participant their results without a second visit.

Why screening is the highest-leverage hour in healthcare

Indonesia's heaviest health burden is not the illness people already know about — it is the illness nobody has measured yet. Hypertension, elevated blood sugar, and high cholesterol are routinely found for the first time at a workplace check-up, in people who feel entirely well. An hour of someone's day can move a chronic condition from undetected to managed.

For employers the same numbers read differently. A screened workforce means fewer medical emergencies, less unplanned absence, and health risk that is a known quantity rather than a surprise on a Monday morning.

Delivered through the ecosystem, not by one company

  • Plebo and OneLab Diagnostics — clinical delivery, laboratory testing, and the digital platform that carries registration, results, and follow-up.
  • Livewell — post-screening habits and corporate wellness, so that a result turns into a behaviour change rather than a filed report.
  • Kalayudha Foundation — community programmes in places where the barrier is cost rather than willingness, funded outside the commercial model.

The goal for the next cycle is not only a bigger number. It is a higher share of participants who come back for a second check-up — because screening compounds only when it is repeated.
