Livewell, a startup established since 2021 under the Kalayudha Group, introduces the Nutrico+ feature.

Nutrico+ is hailed as the first app in Indonesia capable of analyzing unique aspects of all dishes, especially Indonesian menus.

“With Nutrico+, users can upload images of ready-to-eat meals, packaged foods, and nutrition information labels for analysis of their macro and micro-nutrient calorie content,” said Andira Utami, Livewell’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), during the launch of Nutrico+ in Jakarta, Wednesday (15/5/2024).

She explained that Nutrico+ will further evolve. Beyond food recognition, this continuous AI learning approach enables Nutrico+ to enhance its accuracy and adaptability.

“Nutrico+ utilizes new data to enhance accuracy and algorithm performance,” said Andira.

The development of Nutrico+ will enable the system to offer personalized recommendations for eating habits, physical activity, and even sleep patterns. This feature serves as a comprehensive health and fitness companion.

Livewell’s app offers five features to assist users in monitoring their lifestyles for better health. First is the Nutrition feature.

“Livewell simplifies individuals’ tracking of detailed intake by developing Nutrico+, an AI-powered food estimator. With this feature, users can estimate nutrient amounts based on descriptions or photos they provide,” said Samuel Tampubolon, Livewell’s CTO.

Next is the Exercise feature. “The most exciting aspect of this feature is that individuals can share their workout achievements and experiences on Instagram Stories or feed,” Samuel added.

The other three features in Nutrico+ are Sleep, Water Intake, and Mood.

Meanwhile, Daniel Supit, Livewell’s CMO, hopes that with these features, the Livewell app can assist many individuals in living healthier lives.

“Livewell aligns with the habits of most Indonesians who like to take photos before meals, and Livewell packages this with education about the nutrients they consume. Livewell can also monitor employees’ daily activities through a company dashboard that can be used to promote a healthy lifestyle in the workplace, through data and rewards,” said Daniel.
