TeleCTG is a digital solution designed to enhance maternal health by enabling regular fetal monitoring for pregnant women, particularly in remote areas with limited access to healthcare facilities. Since its inception in 2016, TeleCTG has gained recognition for its role in bridging healthcare gaps and empowering mothers to monitor their pregnancies more effectively.
Recently, TeleCTG received a prestigious innovation grant under the Transform Bestari Challenge—a collaborative initiative by Unilever, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), and EY. This recognition underscores TeleCTG’s potential to deliver lasting social and environmental impact while contributing to Indonesia’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Expanding Access and Impact
With the support of the Transform Bestari Challenge, Elektra has expanded TeleCTG’s reach through a pilot program in collaboration with the Ministry of Communication and IT (Kominfo). This initiative has enabled six community health centers (puskesmas) in Bogor to provide consistent and accessible fetal health monitoring services. By minimizing the need for long-distance travel, the program has significantly reduced barriers to healthcare for mothers in underserved areas, supporting efforts to lower maternal and infant mortality rates.
